Task 2:Type 1: List 5 things you know about Superman in 3 minutes. Share with a partner or small group. Then share as a whole calss to create a background knowledge list.
Task 3: Listen to the song "It's Not Easy" and ask students to highlight allusions to Superman - anything that seemed to reference Superman.
Closure: How did the allusion to Superman help you understand something about the song?
